Question Black Horse P-47 Thunderbolt 60cc?

Has anyone got hold of or seen the new BH P-47D Thunderbolt?

The only place I have seen one is on the you tube video from Motion R/C. I spoke with them about it and they said the video was released WAY too soon and that they have no idea when they will be getting them in,
They did say when they are sure of it showing up on our shores they will have an announcement about it.
I would like to get one myself but I was told when they get them in their hands they will be sold on a first come first served basis; no preorder deals.

Thumbs up

Well I just put a deposit on one! I was told next shippment of Black Horse to Australia would be around June/July but even if it comes a few months later thats fine as it gives heaps of time to order the gear for the build. Hopefully we have some updated news by next month. Looks amazing and awesome value as it comes with all electric retracts. Only wish it had the flipper doors on the main gear as well.

Yeah we will be waiting here in the states for ours; they are not even taking deposits on them; and they haven't even said what they will be selling them for.
How much are they selling them for in Australia?

I was quoted 1499.00AUS which may sound expensive if converted to US dollar but it’s actually good value considering it comes with 3 electric retracts.

Default Bh p-47

Are the wings fully sheeted? It's hard to tell from the pictures; looks like they are. Kind'a pricey, should at least have the inner gear doors too.

I guess they would be sheeted. No idea at this stage. Considering the H9 Oscar is $1600.00 here without retracts is a good price!

Thanks for pics!! 😀👍
Good to see they are being shipped.
What’s the cockpit like, any panel detail?
Also is the pilot ok or just a cheap plastic one?

Keep the pics coming!

Thank you for posting 😊

Also I noticed the rear retract is made of plastic?
I gather it was done to keep the weight down on the rear end.

Many thanks 🙏
looks like some nice detail in the cockpit but I’ll probably swap out the pilot.

I was a bit disaponted to see all the pixels in the covering. Didnt notice it on my phone. Its a shame they couldnt print it off in a higher resolution. My Hangar 9 P51 20cc has the similar printed type of covering but its very sharp imaging. I guess it will look fine in the air and as long as you dont stand too close.lol
Hey Manu, what gear are you going to use in your P47?

I decided to go the electric route (Dualsky GA6000 60cc)with this one. I was considering a DLE55 or even 65 but I like the reliability of electric and being able to fly early in the morning at my club.

Be sure to post up more photos of your build. I have no idea when mine will arrive.
