The gearbox should be vented to prevent moisture buildup .
Only clean air should be entering it -hence the filter

Got it from a local auto parts store- its a fuel filter for an American Quadrajet carburetor
Just used some Hysol to attach over the Festo fitting

Planning to run a fuel pump ,so I installed a gearbox breather/filter in place of the Festo tube

Finally found a source for gearbox grease (SKF LGHP2) - few left on eBay -
Do a search for it.
Seems like nobody else in the US has any!

Maybe I missed it -does anybody have a source for the SKF LGHP 2 grease in small quantities for our gearboxes??
Cant find it anywhere in the USA
