Let me give an update on our new ignition:

It will run on 7.4 to 11.1Volts, meaning you can run 3S LiFe, 2S and 3S LiPo and your "older generation" batteries at the correct voltages, as well.

You would want to install the engine with the airpump being as close to the 12 o'clock position as possible, that will minimize, almost completely eliminate the loss of your bearing...
