Yes, but it is not staying that way, because it is terribly inconsistent. The vid shows what appears to be a nice running engine, but throttle response is terrible.
Same as Dave did with his FT120, I am going to close the airbleed completely and let the solenoid do its magic.

All, the wiki pages require rewriting. It's not a huge effort but it will take some time. If there's any specific pages anyone needs first, please let me know and I'll prioritize those pages.

No need to answer, it was more of a facetious statement, Its a better place over here anyway... Giant Scale News is also a good local... a bit of rivalry with RCg, why Jason put Giant Scale News in their "bad word list"... due to an upset partnership.

The cheapest localy is about €4 each...
Love this way of mounting engines besides less noice it also reduces/ avoids damage during poor landings. Also less weight then a nylon motor mount.

They also have small o rings l have to measure what are used on needle valves and the fuel filler valves that started to leak air.
What material is best for our use?

But I would not know why they wouldn't ship int'l...
For gasoline, Viton is the better choice.if the seal has to allow movement (like needle valves). For static seals NBR suffices.

Its unlikely they get damaged during shipping.

Wonder if there is a low cost airline flying to lelystad (airport) and then take the bus to collect it in person.
Visit the museum on the way back would make a nice day trip
My guess is that they just posted a "ballpark" figure for there "average" order most likely a few meters of extrusion profie.
A quick call will aswer that, there is no language barrier to worry about

Been a slow shop week for me as the "day job" was priority this week - I recently moved "up the ranks" and am now in charge of maintenance QA for our airline - Today was an external audit week - The pressure cooker part of the job. Do hope to get some flying and shop time in this weekend though.

Got out for a little flying today - Windy all day but calmed down this evening..
Field was a mess as it rained here all week and it really needed a mow but had a few great flights with the Kavalier - The recent mods of the fixed air bleed and the thermal isolator seems to have really helped. The engine ran great. Still a few tweaks to make idle to mid range but upper half of curve is flawless...Solid idle now and great response. Lots of power too as one of the high speed passes was rocking.
This 5 minute flight burned about 2 oz of fuel - Great fuel economy. Tried to demo some "light aerobatics" to show the consistency of the power settings and transitions.
Despite only having flown relatively few flights - I'm really starting to like this setup..
